Rigid Gas Permeable Contact Lenses

If you have been told "you can't have contact lenses because your eyesight is too complicated" then you have probably been misled.

Rigid Gas Permeable contact lenses can be successfully made to correct all levels of vision error.

• If you are severely myopic (short sighted) or hyperopic (long sighted) - this type of lens can be made to correct your sight when perhaps a Soft Contact Lens cannot.
  
  
• If you have too much Astigmatism (irregularity of the front surface of the eye) for a Soft Contact Lens to be effective - Rigid Gas Permeable lenses can invariably provide the answer.
  
  
• If you need a 'Multifocal' correction (if you have one type of vision error at a distance and need another type for close-work, which is called Presbyopia) - the best type of contact lens is often a Rigid Gas Permeable lens.
