Single Vision: Standard lenses for short and long sight which may also contain a correction for astigmatism. Lenses are available in a range of materials to suit both your prescription and your lifestyle.
Bifocal: Gives you two optical corrections in one lens with a dividing line between the two parts. Typically the top part corrects distance vision and the bottom part near vision.
Varifocal: Like bifocals, these lenses are for spectacle wearers who need more than one optical correction, but unlike bifocals they have no 'dividing line'. Varifocal lenses allow the wearer to see at all distances as the power changes smoothly from distance vision through to near vision.
Degressive: Designed for computer users, these 'vocational lenses' allow extra flexibility and clarity at screen distance and closework. A great innovation for work and leisure.

High Index: Hi Index lenses such as 'Airwear' allow lenses to be made thinner and lighter, tougher and better looking than standard plastic lenses.
Scratch Resistant: Scratch resistant coatings protect against damage and increase the life of spectacle lenses.
Anti-Reflection: Virtually eliminate reflections from the lens surfaces; ideal for computer users and for driving in poor light, they also dramatically improve the cosmetic appearance of your spectacles.
Photochromic: 'Reactolite' and 'Transitions' are glass and plastic versions of spectalce lenses that darken and lighten automatically in different light levels.
