This smoothie proves that caring for your eyes can be absolutely delicious. The blueberries and peaches in this smoothie are a fantastic source of Vitamins C and E. These powerful antioxidants help prevent damage to your eyes that can lead to Age-related Macular Degeneration.

As an added bonus, this smoothie also has flax seeds, which is an A+ source of omega 3 fatty acids. Omega 3s are great for eyes because they can prevent dry eye and glaucoma by regulating fluid retention and normalising eye pressure.

Ingredients

225g Blueberries

170g Almond Milk

170g Non fat plain Greek yogurt

1 Tbsp ground flaxseeds

85 grams ice cubes

1 small peach roughly chopped

Method

Blend blueberries, peach, almond milk, yogurt, flax seeds, honey and ice in a blender until pureed and smooth, stirring several times. Serve immediately.
